It’s Freebie Friday!
Writing about yourself and your work can be tricky. We often just want to let the work speak for itself. But, having an artist statement gives the viewer, reader or listener a chance to understand what the themes or methods are behind your work. This Friday we have a list of tips to help you create your best artist statement yet.

Hey, have you taken our housing survey yet?
We are conducting some research about housing, and would love your feedback!
Many real estate owners and developers think working people (and specifically artists) want to rent forever. Can this be true? Here is a survey to help us better understand the needs of working people, and artists specifically, in regards to their housing. Please fill this out and re-post where you can. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us.
If you are interested in learning more about our programs and resources, please reach out to us at email@example.com or visit starrynightprograms.com.
