Freebie Friday: Interview with Cinnamon Stephens

Freebie square 6-16

You know what day it is!

Today’s freebie is an interview we did with Cinnamon Stephens, an attorney and arts advocate, whose 20-year career in working with artists legal issues provides us with a bounty of advice and resources. She imparts some tips on the mysterious, and sometimes daunting world of Art Law, including, the importance of contracts, copyrights, having or starting a relationship with a lawyer, as well as low budget ways to get legal resources.

She stresses that as an emerging artist, of any discipline, it’s always worth the investment to make sure you are set up legally and that you protect your work.

Here are some Resources and Links from our enlightening conversation.
